A collaborative project between The University of Texas at Austin - Information Technology Services and The Blanton Museum of Art.


2003 - POCKET PC HANDHELD MUSEUM GUIDE


Inspired after visiting the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, Dan Updegrove, VP for Information Technology Services initiated a creative effort using mobile technology on the UT Campus.


In 2003, the Web Technologies Team worked with Blanton Museum Education Curators to produce a guide for the "Visualizing Identity" Exhibit. The tour included audio and video of the artists as well as interactive response database integration. The iTour added social interaction and a personal glimpse into the artists themselves.
